At Pacific Kids Pediatric Therapy, Occupational Therapy services assist children to gain independence in their daily lives. Services include evaluation, treatment, care giver education, and consultation with other professionals.
Children may be born with or acquire needs that affect their development. An occupational therapist assists with:
Self care skills (dressing, feeding, grooming, bathing, toileting and functional mobility)
Gross Motor Skills (walking/running/climbing/dancing)
Fine Motor Skills (drawing, feeding with utensils, cutting, writing, crafts)
Interactive play skills (social interaction)
Explorative play skills (sensory processing)
Executive Function Skills (attending/participating/planning/transitioning)
